Today was the big official opening of the Mahora Primary School’s bike track project. It all came together after eighteen months of hard work by the school and with great funding support from many local community groups.
After some short speeches and the presentation of lovely thank you gifts and student drawings, the ribbon was cut and the students (and some funders) got to ride the new bikes on the different bike tracks.
In addition to the three bike tracks, the fifty bikes and the 350 helmets, the school also has also put in place a converted forty foot shipping container to store all their bikes in.
